Fulham have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Brazilian playmaker Andreas Pereira from Manchester United in a £10 million deal.
According to Italian football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Fulham have reached a full agreement for the signing of out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira. Romano claims the two clubs had agreed on a £10 million deal last week, but the finer details have been finalised now, with a move imminent.
The Brazilian playmaker has agreed on personal terms with the Cottagers on a three-year deal, with the option of extending it by another season. Manchester United will receive £10 million plus £3 million in add-ons as the transfer fee from Fulham.
Pereira has been with Manchester United since 2012 when he joined their under-18 side from PSV Eindhoven. He rose through the ranks to make his first-team debut in the 2014/15 season but could never grow into a regular starter for the Red Devils, staying on the fringes of the first team for the majority of his time with the Premier League heavyweights.
He has spent loan spells at Granada, Valencia, Lazio and Flamengo, with the Brazilian club being the latest club to take him on a temporary basis. The 26-year-old has been with Flamengo for the 2021 season and part of the 2022 campaign and recently returned to Manchester United ahead of the new season.

The Brazilian outfit were reportedly interested in signing Pereira permanently but were not able to match Manchester United’s asking price. Fulham and Crystal Palace have been interested in taking him on board as well, but the player reportedly had been preferring a return to his home country.
However, as things turned out, Fulham agreed on a deal to sign the midfielder and are now set to take Pereira on board ahead of the 2022/23 season. Pereira would get much more valuable game time with the newly-promoted Fulham than he would have at Manchester United under Erik ten Hag.

In all, the Brazilian playmaker made 75 appearances for the Red Devils’ senior squad across competitions, scoring four and assisting five goals in the process. Two of Pereira’s four goals with the club have come in the English top-flight.
