According to talkSPORT, the 18-year-old could be on the move this summer, and Aston Villa could lose one of the prized academy graduates to a big club.

Carney Chukwuemeka has steadily become one of the most talked-about prodigies in English football. The teenage prospect has garnered rave reviews for mature performances for Aston . The fact that Steven Gerrard trusts him so much shows how highly valued he is at the club.

Aston Villa had been hoping to nurture him further and develop the 18-year-old into one of the most sought-after youngsters in England. However, with a year left on his current deal, the Midlands club are in danger of losing their prized academy graduate to a bigger club.

Chukwuemeka has faith in his abilities and wants to rise to the top quickly. All three teams are keen on signing young talents and have a brilliant track record for their developmental programs. For instance, Arsenal’s interest in Chukwuemeka is natural, as they have a manager in Mikel Arteta. He has been instrumental in the developments of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe in recent years.

Hence Arsenal are sniffing around the potential opportunity to sign Chukwuemeka this summer, as he could be a fantastic addition to their young squad. It will be a great move for the 18-year-old, who reportedly does not favour extending his deal at Aston Villa.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have been fantastic recently, with Jurgen Klopp’s side consistently mounting a title challenge and digging deep in the UEFA Champions League. The German manager’s track record with some younger players is astonishing. Considering the developments of Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones and others, Liverpool are a great option for Chukwuemeka.

The Merseyside giants have also added Calvin Ramsay and Fulham prodigy Fabio Carvalho this summer. Such moves only strengthen the belief of young players such as Chukwuemeka and could tempt the player to train under Klopp at Liverpool.

Finally, Barcelona, much like Arsenal and Liverpool, have produced some top talents through their La Masia academy. Players like Nico Gonzalez and Gavi have excelled in the system, and manager Xavi Hernandez is looking to build a strong future team. So the Catalan club’s interest in Chukwuemeka is natural.

Chukwuemeka will have plenty of options this summer, and Aston Villa might have no choice but to sell the 18-year-old. However, they might end up quoting a reasonable price, which the interested clubs will look to negotiate and sign Chukwuemeka.
