Everton, Fulham and West Ham United have been offered the chance to sign Luca Pellegrini from Juventus, with the Old Lady keen on cashing in on the left-back.
According to Corriere Dello Sport via Sport Witness, at least three Premier League clubs have been offered the chance to sign Luca Pellegrini from Juventus. The Italian giants are keen on cashing in on the defender and would entertain offers from England, with Everton, Fulham and West Ham United being given the opportunity to sign the left-back.
Luca Pellegrini only started to get going in this Juventus team this past season, having spent the last couple of campaigns away on loan. The 23-year-old left-back made 15 starts in Serie A in 2021/22, with an additional three appearances coming off the bench. While he proved a good option, the Bianconeri are not particularly keen on keeping hold of the player.
The club have reportedly informed their transfer team to seek opportunities in the market, and his agent, Vincenzo Raiola, whose uncle was the late Mino Raiola, is already offering his client to suitors. As many as three clubs have been offered the chance to sign the Italy international, with Everton, Fulham and West Ham United being those teams.
All three sides are chasing a new left-back, with their managers keen on bringing reinforcements ahead of the new season. Everton, in particular, have been chasing Olexandr Zinchenko since Arsenal cooled their interest, as Frank Lampard is keen to add competition for Vitalii Mykolenko.
The Toffees lost Lucas Digne in January to Aston Villa and replaced him with Mykolenko. The Ukrainian did have a strong finish to the season, but the need for an additional player in the position is vital. And Pellegrini could be a cheaper alternative to Zinchenko, although Juventus will look to recoup most of what they paid for the left-back three years ago.
As for West Ham United and Fulham, both clubs had already been in contact with Pellegrini’s agent over a potential transfer. The Hammers are looking for an upgrade on Arthur Masuaku to provide cover for Aaron Cresswell at left-back, while newly-promoted Fulham are keen on adding depth in the position with the Italian’s signing.
With three years left on his contract, Juventus could command a significant fee for Pellegrini, although the three Premier League clubs could look to drive the price down as much as possible. The 23-year-old left-back has a bright future ahead and could look to move away from Turin if a good offer comes in.
