Tottenham ready to offer Harry Winks, Lucas Moura in deal to sign Richarlison

Tottenham are reportedly ready to step up their pursuit of Everton attacker Richarlison and are ready to offer two of their players in a deal to get him on board.

According to Daily Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to use Harry Winks and Lucas Moura as makeweights in their pursuit to sign Richarlison from Everton. Spurs have reportedly been in advanced talks to sign the Brazilian international, with initial reports suggesting a deal could be reached for €60 million.

However, recent reports have claimed the Toffees want around €75 million for Richarlison, which has hampered Tottenham’s plans slightly. But the north London club are not ready to give up their pursuit of the 25-year-old yet.

As per report, Everton value Richarlison highly and have also made Harry Winks one of their transfer targets. And Tottenham are planning to use the Toffees’ interest in the English midfielder to their benefit by offering him as a part of their bid to sign the former Watford man.

Tottenham are even ready to include Lucas Moura in any potential deal, but Everton’s stance on their potential offer is still unclear. The north London club seem seriously interested in Richarlison, and new developments in the transfer saga can be expected shortly.

Antonio Conte is eager to add reinforcements in almost every position as the club prepare for a season in the UEFA Champions League. Tottenham are also set to lose Steven Bergwijn this summer and are looking for a versatile forward who can play all along the frontline, and Richarlison fits the bill.

The 25-year-old Brazilian international has played as a right-winger, left-winger, centre-forward and second striker for Everton. And Tottenham believe his quality to play in any position in the frontline could come in handy, especially with Champions League football on their agenda as well.

Tottenham have, so far, completed the signings of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan and Fraser Forster from Southampton on free transfers and are closing in on Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence, who spent the last season on loan at Nottingham Forest and helped them gain promotion to the English top-flight. It will be interesting to see if a move for Richarlison sees the light of day.
