Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan have joined the race to sign Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, who spent the last season on loan at Real Betis.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, Juventus and Inter Milan have joined the race for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin. The Spaniard spent the last season on loan at Real Betis and is set to leave the Gunners this summer.

Having played for the youth academies of both Arsenal and Barcelona, Bellerin debuted for the Gunners’ first team in the 2014/15 season. But after a peak between 2015 and 2018, where he was a first-team regular, he fell down the pecking order, with injuries playing a role as well.

Eventually, the full-back was sent to Betis on a year-long loan last summer, where he made 32 appearances across all competitions, assisting five goals in the process. The 27-year-old is now set to return to Arsenal but a permanent move seems to be on the cards.

As per the aforementioned report, Real Betis remain Bellerin’s first choice after a good season under Manuel Pellegrini, where he won the Copa del Rey. But the La Liga side might not have the financial resources to get him on board permanently.

Other potential suitors are lining up as well, both from Serie A and La Liga. Other than Juventus and Inter Milan, Fiorentina and AS Roma have shown interest in the right-back as well. The interested clubs have even made contact with the player’s entourage to explore the possibility of a summer move.

Bellerin, who has made 239 appearances for Arsenal across competitions, has just a year remaining on his contract with them. He currently earns over €4 million per year with the Gunners and would want to pocket a similar salary at his next club.

Arsenal reportedly want €18 million for Bellerin, who has won three FA Cup trophies with the north London club. The Spanish international could end up in Italy in the summer amidst the growing interest. As for Arsenal, they are in the market for a right-back signing to compete with Takehiro Tomiyasu and have been linked with a move for Udinese’s Nahuel Molina.
