Everton and West Ham United have enterest the race for Torino’s highly-rated right-back Wilfried Singo, with Tottenham also keen on the Ivorian.
According to Calciomercato, multiple clubs from the Premier League are looking to sign Wilfried Singo from Torino in the summer. Everton and West Ham United are the latest teams to join Tottenham in the queue for the Ivorian right-back, with the Italian side open to offers.
Wilfried Singo has come into the spotlight after a fantastic season with Torino. The Ivory Coast international, 21, has become a mainstay for the Italian side, having made 32 appearances in Serie A, scoring thrice and assisting four times during the campaign.
His performances may not have elevated Torino in the league standings, but have led to him attracting plenty of admirers. Most of the interest is coming from the Premier League, as Everton and West Ham United become the latest sides to join Tottenham in the pursuit of the right-back.
Tottenham are reportedly looking for a new right-back. Antonio Conte is unconvinced by the performances of Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal since his arrival at the club. The manager seeks an option that can offer more quality offensively in his wing-back system.
Tottenham are already linked with a move for Denzel Dumfries among other players. The club will make a decision on who they want to sign in the next window, wherein the price could play a big role.
Spurs are linked with a double swoop for Singo and his teammate Gleison Bremer, with a €50 million bid believed to be in the works. However, there are plenty of other clubs vying for Singo’s signature in the next window.
West Ham are also interested in the Ivorian, even though they have Ben Johnson, Vladimir Coufal and Ryan Fredericks as options at right-back. However, Fredericks has endured several injury issues during his time with the Londoners and could be replaced by David Moyes in the summer.
Everton are also reportedly in the chase for Singo, who will need to bring in a long-term replacement for ageing captain Seamus Coleman. However, much will depend on where the club finishes this season. The Toffees are in danger of getting relegated as they dropped into the danger zone after their defeat to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.
Singo has a long future ahead of him, and there are multiple big sides chasing his signature. It remains to be seen where the young right-back ends up come summer.
