Juventus are reportedly getting closer to re-signing Paul Pogba, with the Bianconeri offering a lucrative contract to the Manchester United midfielder.
According to Rudy Galetti, Paul Pogba could be close to moving back to Juventus after the Bianconeri made a lucrative contract proposal to the French midfielder. The Manchester United contract rebel will be free to leave the Red Devils when his deal with the club expires in the summer.
Paul Pogba is inching closer to becoming one of the big names available on a free transfer in the summer transfer window as he runs down his Manchester United deal.
Since rejoining Manchester United for a then-world record £89 million fee from Juventus, Pogba has failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford. It was considered a massive investment after the club decided to spend that kind of money on a player who left on a free transfer to Juventus.
It is quite ironic that the club’s record signing is linked with yet another free transfer to Juventus, who have been in touch with him over contracts and other details. While some retained hope of seeing the Frenchman extend his stay at Manchester United, the slight chances are all but over.
?? #Juventus–#Pogba, talks are progressing and the agreement seems closer: the target is to try to finalize the deal before the end of April. ???⚪⚫

Seeing him leave Manchester United, possibly for Juventus, would be a massive blow for the Premier League in general, considering Pogba’s global profile. Meanwhile, Juventus seem to have won the race for the midfielder, who was attracting plenty of interest, particularly from Real Madrid at one stage.
According to Rudy Galetti, Juventus have already made a competitive contract offer worth €9 million plus €3 million in bonuses per year. This is the highest the Bianconeri might be willing to go as they keep their finances in check.
However, if they cannot sign Pogba, Juventus already have an eye on Chelsea’s Jorginho. It remains to be seen if Pogba is equally keen on returning to Turin and resurrecting his career at club level. A move to Juventus could also help the Serie A giants make the midfield changes they want in the summer transfer window without spending a penny on transfer fees.
