Theo Walcott trains ahead of Ludogorets tie

Theo Walcott has been nursing a hamstring injury, due to which he missed Arsenal’s 4-1 thrashing of Sunderland. The winger has been in fine form and Gunners fans are eager to see him return, so there is some good news on the front.

Walcott has been sidelined for the past week as he is nursing a hamstring injury, but the forward was pictured training with the Arsenal side ahead of their Champions League tie against Ludogorets. However, it is very unlikely he will feature tonight. The Gunners have a crunch tie with Tottenham Hotspur to look forward to, so Wenger will be making sure he is doing whatever he can to get Walcott ready for the North London Derby.

Neville unsure about Arsenal title challenge

Gary Neville spoke about how he considered Manchester City and Arsenal the main title challengers, but admitted that both sides “have got to give me more yet before I trust them.”

Arsenal have indeed shown slight hints of possible weaknesses, having drawn with Paris St.Germain and more notably with Middlesbrough – a side that have been struggling in the Premier League. However, the Gunners are on a great run of form and as long as they stay injury free, Neville may soon come to trust in them.

The ex-United right back tellingly didn’t include his former club as possible challengers, but feels that Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea are all in the running.

Olivier Giroud doesn’t want title talk just yet

Olivier Giroud, who was the hero during Arsenal’s 4-1 victory against Sunderland after coming off the bench to score twice, spoke about how he thinks it is too early for title talk.

The French forward was in an understandably jovial mood when speaking after Arsenal were victorious, and spoke of the need to be consistent . The French forward is likely to start against Ludogorets tomorrow night, and will be hoping for a repeat of his exploits against the Black Cats.
