Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho found himself on the wrong side of the Premier League laws once again, as referee Jon Moss sent him off halfway through the first half of United’s game against West Ham.
It was a frustrating evening all around for the Portuguese manager. He was sent off near the half an hour mark for angrily kicking a water bottle in response to referee Jon Moss showing a yellow card to midfielder Paul Pogba for diving.
Man United then failed to win the game, as the 1-1 draw saw them tie a game at home in the Premier League for the fourth consecutive time. This is the first time this has happened at Old Trafford in 36 years.
However, fans supported Jose Mourinho despite a disheartening evening, stating that this was a biased decision in a league with a number of very expressive managers.
It’s a joke that Mourinho is off. Pathetic.
If Conte or Klopp did this they’d be calling it passion! pic.twitter.com/ZmZp3ZkL99

Have to laugh at the bias.
Klopp to the 4th official, “Are you f****** kidding me?” – pure passion.
Mourinho kicks a bottle – sent off.

Conte and Klopp praised to the heavens for their passionate touchline behaviour. Mourinho gets sent off & criticised for lack of control…

There is clear negative bias towards Mourinho from that decision and it’s more sad that fellow Chelsea fans are taking glee in that. SMH.

Moss sends Mourinho to the stands for kicking a waterbottle, but hasn’t given a single yellow or even a warning for timewasting. LUL

Mourinho sent to the stands for having a opinion. Jonathan Moss has lost control of this game.

Jon Moss also sent Jose Mourinho off last season against West Ham. The man dislikes him and looked for any reason to send him off.

Mourinho is targeted by the media and the referees….your bias is now too too obvious @FA

Klopp uses swear words in press conferences and no one says anything but if Mourinho did it he’d probably be banned and fined lmao

Klopp swears at an official and gets a pat on the back. Mourinho kicks a bottle and get sent off. Total agenda against United#MUFC

Conte and Klopp are discussed and given rave reviews for their touchline passion. Mourinho shows some and gets sent off. Disgrace.

That was a normal Conte/Klopp reaction. But since it was Mourinho, FA will suspend him from stadium and charge £45000 as fine.
