Manchester United handed Leicester City a battering at Old Trafford with four goals in the first half itself. Chris Smalling opened the scoring for the Red Devils while Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata chipped in with a goal each but it was Paul Pogba who grabbed the headlines as he scored his first goal in Manchester United colours after completing the world-record transfer from Juventus.
Pogba was handed the man of the match award and the French midfielder responded gracefully to the gesture of receiving the award for his performance in the game.

The above video just goes to show how Pogba’s goal was received. Pogba had come under heavy criticism for his performances and the French international sure shut his haters with Twitter-verse hailing the midfielder’s overall performance in the game against Leicester City, particularly the first half.
in my head Pogba is the king. his hair is a blonde crown and his throne is made of soccerballs. he does the dab every morning when he rises

Impressed with several United players today but Pogba most of all. Real signs of the authority in midfield United have been missing.

Pogba’s best performance in a #MUFC shirt. He dominated. His link up play with Zlatan looks like it could be something special. #DaveTalks

Piers Morgan, a highly vocal celebrity supporter of Arsenal FC, also joined in on the act, praising Paul Labile Pogba.
Not seeing quite so many ‘Pogba’s such a waste of money’ tweets today.
Magnificent player. Wish we had him at Arsenal. #mufcvlfc— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) September 24, 2016
It’s not his goal, it’s the way he’s bossed the midfield. Beast of a player. #pogba https://t.co/MbxWeaTGNi

Manchester United fans would be hoping this is just the beginning of things to come and that the French international keeps bettering his mark each game-week to ultimately return to being the player which warranted the world’s most expensive player tag.
