Manchester United handed boost in Yan Diomande race

Manchester United has been linked to the move for the RB Leipzig attacker Yan Diomande.

The 19-year-old is highly rated across Europe, and multiple clubs are monitoring his situation. According to a report via SportWitness, Manchester United are keen on securing his signature, and they have been handed a major boost in their pursuit.

The chairman of the German club, Oliver MIntzlaff, has admitted that the player could be sold, and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United are encouraged to come forward with an offer to get the deal done. They need more quality and depth on flanks, and the 19-year-old would be a solid long-term acquisition.

“We want to ensure that we don’t just develop players for one year. But that we can also retain top talents for longer,” he said.

“We still see ourselves as a top club in the Bundesliga. And for young players like Ouédraogo or Diomande, it would be good to take the next steps with us and consistently perform at a high level.

“However, it will remain the case in the future that we will occasionally have to let players go. We still need to generate transfer fees and have players in our squad who are attractive to absolute top clubs.

“Generally speaking, you should never rule anything out in football. If there’s an exorbitant offer far above market value, and we are convinced that it’s a unique opportunity for a significant profit, then we have to be honest with ourselves, discuss it, and keep a cool head.”

Man United keen on Diomande

The Red Devils have recently invested in a couple of wide players, and it seems that they are not done improving that area of the pitch yet. The Ivorian will add explosive pace and unpredictability to the team. He has the tools to develop into a top-class player with the right guidance. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can get the deal done.

They will need to pay a premium to sign the player. Diomande is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a future star. Other clubs are keen on him, and Manchester United must look to move quickly to get the deal done.

It will be interesting to see if the player is willing to join them. He will want to compete at the highest level and fight for major trophies. Manchester United are going through a period of rebuilding, and the attacker might prefer to join a club where he will be able to win major trophies immediately.  It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.
