On Thursday, former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard announced his retirement from football. An illustrious career saw the Englishman earned him plaudits from many a football fan around the world.
Gerrard was linked with a managerial job in the last few days, which he decided to turn down as it came too early for him. But now with his playing days behind him, a role change may be on the cards for the Anfield great.
