The onlookers at King Power witnessed a masterclass from Philippe Coutinho as the Brazilian led the Liverpool side to a narrow 3-2 win over Leicester.
Liverpool came into the match needing a victory after a series of disappointing results. With Sadio Mane unavailable, it was down to the Reds’ usual hero Philippe Coutinho to step up. The Brazilian had been lacklustre since the Barcelona transfer saga, but he stepped up on Saturday night, with a goal and an assist in the Liverpool win.
The Kop army seemed to have forgotten Coutinho handing in a transfer request earlier in the summer and there seemed to be no love lost for their main man. The social media also bore witness to the appreciation flowing towards the Brazilian.

Simon Mignolet saved a penalty and was overall very good on the night, despite letting in 2 goals.
Simon Mignolet has now saved as many PL penalties as Cech + P Schmeichel + Courtois combined

Where are all you Klopp out ‘fans’? #LFC
— Carl Clemente (@clemente_carl) September 23, 2017
The whole ‘Klopp out’ thing is being blown way out of proportion. Other than troll accounts does anyone actually want him out? Doubt it.
