Mauricio Pochettino’s torrid record in away games against the top six sides continued as Tottenham slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the North London Derby.
Arsenal came into the North London Derby on Saturday as slight underdogs compared to Tottenham and their recent scalp of Real Madrid. However, as the match panned out, the Gunners’ dominance on the pitch became evident and Arsene Wenger’s men ran out comfortable winners with a two-goal margin.
Arsenal managed to keep the much-hailed Tottenham attack at bay and extended Mauricio Pochettino’s awful record in away games against the top sides – the only blip on the manager’s portfolio so far. Twitter did not spare Tottenham, Pochettino and the stars of the club for going missing on the day.

Spurs lost to Chelsea, lost to Man Utd, losing to Arsenal but Pochettino is a world class tactician cos he grooms youth and applies pressure on the league leaders.

Pochettino has now lost to Chelsea, MUFC and The Arsenal this season.
The media would have us believe though that he is the best coach/manager in the league.— IslingtonGoonerAFC (@Born_a_gooner) November 18, 2017

1 win in 17 away games vs the Top 6 for Pochettino. It’s clear he’s got potential to be an outstanding manager, but he’s not close to being ready for an elite job yet. The bottlejob mentality and tactical deficiencies become clear.
