Arsenal coach Jack Wilshere is reportedly all set to leave the North London club in order to join EFL Championship outfit Norwich City.

According to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Jack Wilshere has held positive talks with Norwich City, and terms have been agreed between all parties, including Arsenal.

It will be interesting to see if Wilshere can make a difference at the EFL Championship club as a coach. He will be disappointed with his playing career at Arsenal after the midfielder never really fulfilled his potential with them due to fitness issues.

At one point, he was regarded as one of the finest young talents in European football. However, injuries plagued his career at the North London club. The 32-year-old is now looking to make his mark as a coach, and a move to the EFL Championship could be ideal for him. He will get more hands-on experience at Norwich City.

At Arsenal, he was in charge of the Arsenal Under-18 squad. But the Englishman will now step into a first-team role with the Canaries. Norwich City coach Narcis Pelach joined Stoke City last month, and Wilshere is expected to replace him.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will receive compensation from the Canaries for the 32-year-old. He has been coaching with the Gunners for over two years now, and it will be interesting to see if he can handle the step up to the first-team role.

Can Jack Wilshere make a name for himself in coaching?

The former England international retired from professional football in 2022 after his career was ravaged by injuries. Wilshere has done quite well in his short coaching career so far, and he led his side to the FA Youth Cup final. Although they were beaten by West Ham in the final, their performances were quite impressive.

The Arsenal under-18s have done quite well this season as well, picking up nine points from their first five matches under Jack Wilshere. The Englishman will look to make his mark in the EFL Championship and establish himself as an indispensable asset for the Championship club.

If he manages to prove his worth in the Championship, he might get future opportunities in the Premier League in a first-team role as well.
