David Moyes open to fairytale Everton return

West Ham United in advanced talks to sign Ibrahim Osman.

David Moyes is reportedly being linked with a return to Everton after their poor start to the season, which has put Sean Dyche under pressure.

Sean Dyche is under a lot of pressure after a disappointing start to the Premier League campaign, and Everton are yet to win a single game in the Premier League. It would not be surprising if the club hierarchy decided to part ways with Dyche, and it remains to be seen who they end up bringing in as his replacement, with Give Me Sport revealing that David Moyes is an option.

The Toffees have been linked with Gareth Southgate as well. Meanwhile, Moyes was a fan favourite during his time at Goodison Park, and Everton are reportedly ready to bring him back to Goodison Park. The Scottish manager is currently without a job after his departure from West Ham United.

He helped the Hammers win the UEFA Europa Conference League during his time at the club. The Scotsman has shown his quality at Everton in the past as well. An experienced Premier League manager like him could steady the ship at Everton right now, and he could be a useful appointment.

The opportunity to return to his former club is exciting for the manager as well. David Moyes is open to the idea of returning to Everton if the opportunity presents itself. Everton have a decent squad, and they should be doing a lot better.

Moyes might be able to get the best out of them in the coming weeks if he is appointed as the club’s new manager. It remains to be seen whether the club hierarchy are ready to pull the trigger and make changes now or keep faith in Sean Dyche.

Can Sean Dyche turn it around?

With another international break coming up in October, it is fair to assume that Dyche might have around two weeks to save his job. It will be interesting to see if the former Burnley manager can turn things around and produce results on the pitch.

Everton have been fighting relegation in the last two seasons, and they will not want to be in that situation again. A club of their stature should be pushing for top-half finishes every year.

The Merseyside outfit are a big club, and the fans will certainly demand a reaction from the team now. Bringing someone in who knows the club well and the fans could prove to be an ideal decision. David Moyes could prove to be a quality short-term acquisition for them, and it will be interesting to see if the Toffees can secure an agreement with him.
