Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to appoint Brendan Rodgers as their next manager as their search continues.

Brendan Rodgers is currently without a job after being relieved of his duties as the manager of Leicester City Football Club. According to Football Transfers, Tottenham have now formally offered him the job, and it remains to be seen whether the 50-year-old takes up the opportunity to manage the London club.

Tottenham are yet to appoint a long-term successor to Antonio Conte and Ryan Mason is currently the interim manager at the club. The north London side have been linked with the likes of Julian Nagelsmann and Arne Slot in recent weeks.

While Nagelsmann has decided not to join the club without a sporting director, Slot is unsure about how he fits into the structure at Tottenham. It seems that Rodgers is now the front-runner to secure the job. However, Tottenham are still keeping tabs on the former Chelsea manager Graham Potter and the former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique.

Rodgers did a reasonably good job at Leicester prior to this season, and he could prove to be an interesting acquisition for Tottenham. The 50-year-old’s progressive ideas and attacking approach could be a good fit for the north London giants. Tottenham have a squad full of quality attacking players, and they could thrive under the management of Rodgers.

The 50-year-old manager has played an exciting brand of football at his previous clubs – Swansea City, Celtic, and Liverpool. He could bring out the best in players like Son Heung-min and Richarlison.

The two players have struggled to hit top form this season, and playing under a manager with an attacking philosophy could be ideal for them. However, Rodgers does not have a proven track record of winning trophies, which could be a bit of a disappointment for the Tottenham fans. They will be hoping to have a proven winner in charge of the club.

Spurs are going through a rough patch right now, and they have missed out on Champions League qualification. While Rodgers has proven himself to be a capable Premier League manager there is no guarantee that he can guide them to trophies in the coming season. Furthermore, the 50-year-old might be an underwhelming option when it comes to convincing key players like Harry Kane to stay at the club.
