Jordan Henderson will return, but Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota will be unavailable for Liverpool against Fulham on Wednesday.

Liverpool are unbeaten in the last six league matches and have picked up four consecutive victories. So the Reds will be the favourites heading into the game against Fulham on Wednesday night. The hopes of UEFA Champions League qualification are slim. But the home side are unlikely to give up just yet.

Liverpool will be without the services of Diogo Jota, who scored the winner against Tottenham Hotspur in the last outing. The Portuguese international is a major doubt after picking up a knock and missing training. And Klopp confirmed the same during his pre-match press conference.

Klopp said, “He got in the West Ham game a knock in the back, a bruised rib, could not train before the [Tottenham] game but could play without an injection or whatever, but got another knock immediately when he came on.”

“You might have seen the celebrations of Diogo, he was sitting down pretty slowly. He didn’t train since then so that is one that is a doubt… he is a doubt at least but I hope he can recover until tomorrow night.”

Meanwhile, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino have returned to training. But they are lacking in match fitness and are set to miss out. Klopp added. “Bobby [is] training, he looks good, not ready for the game, but is doing more and more so [we are] waiting for him in team training again. Pretty much the same for Naby. I think that’s it pretty much. Of course the long-term injuries, they are not involved.”

Thiago Alcantara has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hip injury. Calvin Ramsay and Stefan Bajcetic are also sidelined for the remainder of the campaign. Meanwhile, Liverpool will start in a 4-3-3 formation, with Alisson Becker in goal.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are likely to be deployed as the full-backs. Alexander-Arnold will look to continue his rich vein of form after having picked up six assists in his last five outings. Robertson was quite poor against Tottenham, and he will look to improve here. Ibrahima Konate will start alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of the defence.

Jordan Henderson is likely to be handed a start here in the absence of Thiago. Fabinho will continue as the defensive midfielder, and he will look to break up the opposition play and win the ball back for Liverpool. Curtis Jones is likely to start once again after impressing against Tottenham and getting on the score sheet.

Jones will look to add creativity to the side while Henderson will look to provide defensive cover. Finally, Cody Gakpo will lead the line for the Reds here with Mohamed Salah on his right and Luis Diaz on the left.
