Tottenham Hotspur are all set to part ways with their Italian manager Antonio Conte after disappointing results of late.

According to a report by Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to mutually part ways with their manager Antonio Conte ahead of next season. There has been a lot of uncertainty around his future at the club of late.

Even Conte is unsure of what the future holds as he talked about his potential sacking in one of his recent press conferences.

Conte said: “We will see — they might sack me even before the end of the season, who knows, maybe they are disappointed.”

The Italian manager believes that the club might be disappointed by the work that has been done and could sack him in the near future.

He joined the club in November 2021 after Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked. Conte signed an 18-month contract with the club. While there is an option to extend it for another 12 months but that looks unlikely because of the recent events.

The Spurs boss guided his team to a top-four finish in the first season in charge. He managed to get them to the UEFA Champions League which was considered a great job back then. But, the ongoing season hasn’t been that great for the Italian manager.

Tottenham were recently knocked out of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 by AC Milan. Their exit from the UCL meant curtains to their aspirations of winning a title in the ongoing season having been knocked out of the remaining cup competitions prior to the defeat against Milan.

Conte has done a decent job in the Premier League this season. They are currently fourth in the English top flight and are likely to finish inside the top four. However, his overall performances haven’t convinced the board. And, they are ready to part ways with the Italian by mutual consent.

Meanwhile, the Spurs board are on the look for a new manager. The London club have their eyes set on some of the biggest names in world football. They have been linked with their former boss Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique, Thomas Tuchel, and Luciano Spalletti.

While it is pretty much certain that Antonio Conte’s reign at Tottenham will come to an end, it will be interesting to see who replaces him at the London club.
