Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are among the clubs interested in the services of 16-year-old Stoke City prodigy Emre Tezgel.

According to Daily Mail, Stoke City are bracing themselves for raids from top English clubs, for 16-year-old prodigy, Emre Tezgel. The young academy forward has become one of the hottest prospects in England thanks to his performances in the youth divisions.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are among the clubs who are ready to test Stoke’s resolve by attempting a move in the near future. It appears they are ready to snap up the youngster, who was recently compared to Harry Kane by the club’s academy director Gareth Owen.

A native of Burton, Tezgel shares Turkish heritage but he has represented the English youth teams and is currently a part of the England Under-17 setup. He had also trained with the Stoke City reserves this summer despite having turned 16 last month.

Officially, the English forward is a member of the Stoke City Under-18s. He has already made a stunning start to the campaign, securing seven goals in just four matches, including a hat-trick against Liverpool Under-18s earlier this summer.

As such, clubs like Chelsea are prepared to sign him as part of their youth setup next season. The Blues have been quite successful in integrating young players like Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah and Mason Mount in recent years. In Tezgel, they will be hoping to find a similar level of success, even though the youngster has a long way to go before he can be considered a part of the senior side.

The 16-year-old has no shortage of suitors, though, with Manchester United also interested in his services. Under the leadership of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the club has produced attacking talents like Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford.

The potential addition of Emre Tezgel, in that regard, might be a useful one, especially in an offensive unit that consists of ageing superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani, who is courted by both Barcelona and Real Madrid. As for Manchester City, they have not been a particularly attractive club for a young player due to the sheer quality of the first-team.

But they do have a successful youth academy that has produced talents like Jadon Sancho, Liam Delap and Phil Foden in recent years, making them another appealing destination for Emre Tezgel, as he looks to take the next step in his career. With that in mind, it remains to be seen if any of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United can snap up the 16-year-old prodigy.
