Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, with a deal set to be concluded after the Euros.

According to Sport Bild’s Christian Falk’s tweet, Manchester United is very close to Borussia Dortmund’s agreement for the transfer of Jadon Sancho. The tweet sent out by Falk suggests that Manchester United have made a new, improved offer for the winger, which is likely to be accepted to sanction this deal.

Jadon Sancho has talked about a transfer to Manchester United for the best part of two summers. Last year, serious reports suggested a deal was close to completion. Still, eventually, Sancho stayed put in Germany as both clubs were split apart on agreeing on a viable transfer fee.

However, this summer, Dortmund and Sancho have a reported agreement that will let the winger leave the club for England. Additionally, Dortmund have substantially slashed their asking price for the Sancho. Manchester United have never let Sancho out of their sights and look poised to sign him this summer.

United reportedly had a bid rejected earlier in this window and were expected to offer improved terms in recent days. Even our Premier League transfer roundup covered a story with United trying to include Donny van de Beek as part of the deal, although those were rumours like many others.

However, considering the source’s credibility in this story, Christian Falk has suggested that an offer could be accepted. It points to United having offered a price close to that of Dortmund’s asking rate or built the deal in such a way that it pleased the German side into accepting the agreement.

Sancho remains busy with the England squad at the Euros, as they take on Germany in the round-of-16 tie. Sancho is yet to feature prominently, having had to make do with a solitary substitute appearance playing less than 10-minutes of International football at the tournament.

It is also understood that Sancho has no problems with personal terms, as those details were agreed on as early as last summer itself. However, it remains to be seen how soon the deal concludes and Sancho finally becomes a Manchester United player.
