Sam Greenwood is the latest blow to Manchester United in their rampant and rigorous attempt to put their youth setup back on the map. Matthew Bondswell has rejected the advances of the Red Devils in order to move to Germany and join RB Leipzig.
Manchester United though, already have a Greenwood that is tipped for the future. Mason Greenwood had a better season than Sam in the Under-18 Premier League. The youngster scored 16 goals while setting up 4 in 17 appearances, which has seen him catch the eye of the coaches at Carrington.
Sam Greenwood will join Arsenal’s Under-18 side and will hope to grow into his new environment quickly.
