Manchester United academy graduate Tosin Kehinde could be on his way to Spain, with the player attracting interest from La Liga champions Barcelona.
According to Manchester Evening News, another Manchester United academy graduate is beginning to attract interest from the top brass of European football. Tosin Kehinde is the freshest name to emerge on the radar of Barcelona, with the club looking to add the player to their Barcelona B squad.
Tosin Kehinde is a name that not many Manchester United fans around the world would rave about. But, the academy graduate is one of the better midfielders emerging from the setup. Joining at the age of 16, Kehinde already showed promise, making his debut for the Under-21s at the same age.
The 2015-16 season is where he grew into his own, with 27 starts for the Under-18 team. By the 2016-17 campaign, he was a regular face for the Reserves/Under-23 side. The player continued his progress in the season after, finishing the 2017-18 campaign with another credible season under his belt.
Kehinde turned 20 recently. And one of the gifts has been the arrival of interest from Barcelona. The Catalans have recently seen a small exodus of players from within their academy setup and their B side.

Barcelona already strengthened their B side with one English player in Marcus McGuane, who chose to move from Arsenal on a free transfer. And now, they seem to have set their eyes on Tosin Kehinde.
Kehinde is yet to sign an extension with Manchester United and has many clubs clamouring for his signature. The likes of Anderlecht, Fenerbahce, Amiens, SK Brann and RB Salzburg along with Barcelona are all interested in the 20-year-old.
But, Kehinde is not keen on moving away from his Manchester United dream. All the player wants is assurance over a look-in into the first-team squad in the upcoming season and assurances of being awarded a tertiary role within the setup.
It is not that Kehinde has not managed to capture the attention of Jose Mourinho and his staff. The player did train with the first-team squad in December. And while he has failed to make his Manchester United debut, the aforementioned does mean Mourinho has already taken note of Kehinde’s talent.
Pace and versatility are two of the main attributes of Kehinde’s play. Going into the season, Tosin would hope he can emulate Scott McTominay’s success at the club. There is still a possibility of him leaving, for Barcelona or one of the other suitors.
But, the 20-year-old doesn’t look like one who wants an exit from the club just yet.
