Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba still misses Juventus, claims former teammate Paulo Dybala

Paul Pogba is still settling into his role at Manchester United, but one of his former Juventus teammates thinks that the Frenchman is missing life in Turin

Argentine striker Paulo Dybala is one of the most exciting young players at Juventus. But he is definitely missing the service of midfielder Paul Pogba, who left Turin to rejoin Manchester United for what is believed to be a world record transfer fee of €110 million.

The 23-year-old recently spoke about his former teammate, saying that Pogba’s presence was missed in Turin.

“I’m still talking to Pogba, we are missing him for his quality on the pitch and his jokes in the dressing room,” said Dybala, in an interview with Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport.

The Argentine also took the opportunity to direct a well placed jab at the direction of United, comparing the two club’s current standings in their respective league tables.

“However, he misses us as well, just look at our position in the table and the one of Manchester United.”

I Bianconeri  are currently topping the Serie A table, four points ahead of closest rivals Roma. Meanwhile, the Red Devils are in sixth place and trying desperately to break into the top five.

Dybala may have a point to make about Pogba missing Juventus, but Old Trafford was where it all began for the French superstar. His acrimonious departure from United in 2012 led him to the Old Lady, but a record-breaking transfer has brought him back to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old endured a tough start to his Premier League return, failing to capture the confidence of fans in his initial ventures. However, Pogba has since managed to impress for United with his creative presence and strength in midfield, and is looking hungry for success.

While initially forced to play in a more defensive role under Jose Mourinho, Pogba has since been given license to play in his preferred advanced role in midfield. The likes of Ander Herrera and Michael Carrick have instead stepped up to cover defensive duties, and this has brought out the best in the Frenchman.
