Juventus have reportedly joined fellow Serie A outfit AS Roma and Premier League side Everton in the race for Manchester United outcast Memphis Depay.

Italian publication Calciomercato have claimed that Juventus have entered the fray for Manchester United winger Memphis Depay. The Bianconeri have been struggling, to an extent, to replicate their best form in this campaign and are looking to add to their creative and wide options.

Juventus have not been at their dominant best in the Serie A, having already lost two of their 12 matches thus far. Meanwhile, although the Italian champions are yet to face defeat in the Champions League group stage, they currently sit second, two points behind Sevilla, thanks to draws against the Spanish side and Lyon.

The Calciomercato report states that Juventus sent their representatives to watch the international friendly between Netherlands and Belgium, a match that ended 1-1. The match featured a host of stars, but the Bianconeri are thought to be monitoring a trio of attacking options — Riechedly Bazoer of Ajax, Youri Tielemans of Anderlecht and Memphis Depay of Manchester United.

Juventus have had previous interest in Depay, with Calciomercato revealing earlier that the Italian champions were tempted to sign the PSV man before he completed his move to Manchester United.

Memphis Depay has been on the fringes of the first-team squad at Manchester United ever since the appointment of Jose Mourinho and has subsequently been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

Among the Premier League clubs, Everton seem interested in the player, with Ronald Koeman hoping to bring Depay over to Merseyside on loan in January. The former Southampton manager is reportedly confident in his ability to bring out his compatriot’s best football.

Elsewhere, Serie A outfit AS Roma have also shown interest in the player and given that the Romans sit in second place on the league table, 4 points behind Juventus, they might look to recruit in January in order to launch a title challenge.

As January draws closer, Memphis Depay seems to have a growing number of clubs interested in his signature. Ultimately, it may come down to whether the Dutchman sees a future at Old Trafford and wants to stay and fight for his place, or whether he moves on — permanently or on loan — to revive his stagnating career.

For now, though, Depay seems to be backed by most Manchester United fans, who are hopeful their number 7 is able to find some form as the Red Devils seek redemption for their miserable campaigns after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
