Manchester United will be on a high after their recent exploits in the Europa League and the Premier League, but Tony Pulis’s West Bromwich Albion are not an easy side to beat, especially at home.
West Brom have not lost any of their last five matches at The Hawthorns, and will be looking to get at least a point against a United side that have been consistently struggling to score goals. Only recently have they discovered the magical touch of Marcus Rashford. The 18-year-old scored four goals in his first three appearances as a Manchester United player, and has given a lot of hope to the Red Devils’ fans.
However, West Brom themselves have been very good at their home matches, building up The Hawthorns into a bit of a fortress in their last five home games. Their strategy of playing two strikers up top may work well against Manchester United’s centre-backs.
Their tactic of sitting back and hitting on the counter could hurt Manchester United, if the Reds defence are not completely alert. Also, this game would see West Brom midfielder Darren Fletcher squaring up against his old side, and the Scott would definitely be raring to show Manchester United what they are missing.

Prediction
West Bromwich Albion 1-2 Manchester United
Although West Brom have been playing quite well in their recent home matches, Manchester United have themselves been doing just enough to eke out the wins. Whether through goals from surprise candidate Marcus Rashford, or a sublime free kick from Juan Mata, the Red Devils have been getting the three points on board.
