FC Barcelona’s magical South American triumvirate turned on the style as the Catalans put in a scintillating display at the Camp Nou to register a thumping 6-1 win over Celta Vigo.
Barcelona came into this match looking for revenge after being convincingly beaten 4-1 by their opponents on the day at the Balaidos stadium in Vigo earlier in the season. A hat trick from Luis Suarez and a goal each from Lionel Messi, Neymar and Ivan Rakitic helped the Catalans to their 18th win of the 2015-16 La Liga season.
Despite the thumping margin of the victory, the scoreline fails to capture the magic produced by Barcelona’s indomitable trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar. Their incisive passing, clinical finishing and telepathic movement left football fans on twitter gasping for thin air.
Here are some of the best tweets that captured the mood of fans on twitter as Barcelona mauled Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou to reclaim their supremacy on the top of the table.
