Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp will have the the attacking trio of Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi available for selection as his side travels to London to take on West Ham United in a replay of their FA Cup fourth round fixture.
Liverpool FC have suffered a string of key injuries this season and will welcome the return of several players to first-team action.
Sturridge, Coutinho, Origi available for selection
Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho were back in training last week as the manager confirmed the availability of the trio against West Ham.
Speaking ahead of the game, Klopp was quoted as saying by liverpoolfc.com: “We haven’t decided about the starting line-up. Sturridge was fit enough to be on the bench. He was impressive in the last session on Friday night, so we thought ‘come on, if there’s a chance for 10 or 15 minutes, we should try it’.
“We spoke to him and he said he would like to. But then the game had a different story and there was no possibility with the two early changes. Divock and Phil will be in training today too and are in the squad, hopefully, for tomorrow.
“It’s a little bit complicated because extra-time is possible. We have to look at who will start – they can’t all start together, that’s not possible because we know we would have to change three times because the whole game would be too much in this moment.”
Brannagan ruled out
Cameron Brannagan, who had a fine game at Anfield against the Hammers will not be available for selection due to an illness, as revealed by the manager.
Liverpool FC otherwise have a full squad to chose from, except for long term absentees Danny Ings and Joe Gomez. The Reds are expected to field a strong XI, having failed to beat Slaven Bilic’s men in three attempts this season.
