Chelsea’s 3-3 draw against Everton had John Terry’s name written all over it.
A pulsating second half began with John Terry accidentally knocking the ball back into his own net. While Chelsea managed to crawl back into the game, Everton took the lead in the 90th minute following a brilliant goal by Ramiro Funes Mori. However, it was John Terry who had the last laugh as the defender equalised from an offside position in the 97th minute of the game.
Playing in his 700th appearance for the club, Terry couldn’t have expected to make a bigger impact. With his latest gaffe, the former England captain has now scored the most own goals in the Blues shirt.
Hence quite naturally, fans took to Twitter to either criticise English football’s favourite villain or to praise his undying commitment for the club.
