Mikel Arteta has named his strongest lineup to face Aston Villa, with Sambi Lokonga coming into midfield and Kieran Tierney keeping his place at left-back.
Mikel Arteta will aim to make it five wins out of five when Arsenal host Aston Villa at the Emirates. The Gunners boss has named his best available lineup after injuries to key players.
Sambi Lokonga comes into the side and will replace Mohamed Elneny from the last game. He will lineup alongside Granit Xhaka in a double pivot, which leaves Arsenal short on depth on the bench for the central position.
The backline remains the same as it was against Fulham, with Kieran Tierney keeping his left-back position. Ben White is once more preferred at right-back, with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes forming the central defensive partnership.

With Xhaka and Lokonga forming a double pivot in midfield, Martin Odegaard will play in the advanced role ahead of them. Bukayo Saka will start on the right side of the attack, with Gabriel Martinelli preferred on the left. Gabriel Jesus leads Arsenal’s line for the Aston Villa clash.
Confirmed Arsenal Lineup (4-2-3-1) – Ramsdale; Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tierney; Lokonga, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
