Mikel Arteta makes changes as Granit Xhaka is a surprise starter, while Kieran Tierney also returns, although Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is dropped.

Granit Xhaka has grabbed headlines after making an early return from a serious knee injury and starting against Everton. Mikel Arteta has also brought Kieran Tierney back into the side in place of Nuno Tavares. Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette also return to the starting lineup.

The second headline-grabbing news would be Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang dropping to the bench after a terrible run of games. Lacazette is his natural replacement to lead the line. Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White and Gabriel lineup alongside Tierney and in front of Aaron Ramsdale’s goal. Rob Holding, Cedric and Tavares are all options from the bench.

Thomas Partey will hope to have a better game alongside senior midfield partner Xhaka. Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny are options from the bench if needed.

Bukayo Saka returns to the side after a slight injury problem, while Gabriel Martinelli keeps his place in the team, starting from the left side of the attack. Martin Odegaard will play the central attacking role, with Lacazette leading the line.

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette.
