Mikel Arteta has chosen to keep Bernd Leno on the bench, with Emiliano Martinez starting in goal for Arsenal in the Community Shield match against Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta has gone for the tried and trusted backline for the Community Shield match against Liverpool. The Arsenal back four will consist of David Luiz, Rob Holding, Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin. William Saliba will be hoping to make his debut by coming off the bench at some point in the game.

Bernd Leno was back fit and available but has been handed a spot on the bench, with FA Cup hero Emiliano Martinez retaining his position in goal. Up ahead, there are a host of youngsters featuring for Arsenal, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah all starting against Liverpool.

Mohamed ElNeny and Granit Xhaka will aim to provide stability and experience in midfield, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looking to continue where he left off last season.
