Manchester United vs Crystal Palace Confirmed Lineups: Rooney captains side; Harrop, Mitchell and Pereira start

Jose Mourinho has named a number of youngsters in his matchday squad against Crystal Palace. Wayne Rooney, Paul Pogba, Jese Lingard and Eric Bailly remain the senior players in the side, with a host of youngsters named.

 Demetri Mitchell, Joel Pereira and Josh Harrop are in line to make their debut while Axel Tuanzebe will play in midfield. Timothy Fosu Mensah is expected to start as a right-back.

Youngster Angel Gomes has been handed the number 47, and will start the game from the bench. He recently one the Young Player of the Year award, and is expected to be brought on in the second half.

For Palace, Wayne Hennessey will start in goal with a centre-back pairing of Stephen Ward and James Tomkins ahead of him. Jason Puncheon and James McArthur will anchor the midfield with Christian Benteke leading the line.
