Spain moved a step closer to the 2018 FIFA World Cup as they saw off Israel 4-1 in the Qualifiers. After keeping nearly 75 percent of the ball, the 2010 World champions were never in any real danger.

La Roja relied on goals from David Silva, Diego Costa, Vitolo and Isco to get the job done for them. Lior Refaelov grabbed a late consolation for the Israeli side. However, Silva’s 13th minute goal was the pick of the bunch, and left the Spanish fans in attendance dazed at the quality of the overall build-up.

Left-back Jordi Alba played a through ball into the stride of Silva, which went through the legs of an Israeli defender. The Manchester City midfielder then took the ball into his stride, controlled the pass by taking another touch and slotted it home through the legs of keeper Marciano.
