MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - NOVEMBER 30: Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Manchester United celebrates with team mates after scoring his team's fourth goal of the game during the EFL Cup quarter final match between Manchester United and West Ham United at Old Trafford on November 30, 2016 in Manchester, England. Manchester United came into the game without Paul Pogba, who was suspended for the game after having accumulated five yellow cards, the fifth one coming in a highly controversial manner in the 1-1 draw against West Ham. Jose Mourinho was also to serve his 1-match touchline ban for reaction to the yellow card received by Paul Pogba.

But, United started strongly scoring an early goal as Mkhitaryan set up Zlatan with a beautiful back-heel weighted pass and the Swede converted it well. United dominated the half but went into the half-time level, thanks to a real poacher’s goal by Ashley Fletcher, who left United to join the Hammers earlier in the summer.

The second half, though, saw United not repeat the result from the weekend’s tie as a brace for Martial ensured a comfortable win, before Zlatan added another to his tally and United’s goals in the penultimate minutes of the game.
