Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made wholesale changes to the team that won 4-0 against Feyenoord in mid-week, while West Ham continue to seek a winning combination
Marcus Rashford, David de Gea, Ander Herrera, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo and Jesse Lingard return to the starting XI after missing out in mid-week. Two of the best performers from the game against Feyenoord in Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Wayne Rooney have been left on the bench.
The most shocking addition to the team is that of German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger. The 32-year-old had been banished from the first team by Mourinho, but has been named on the bench for the game against West Ham.
The Hammers have dropped misfiring Italian striker Simone Zaza to the bench, as Diafra Sakho gets the chance to stake his claim for a starting spot.
