The Italian striker provided some late drama and entertainment, leading OGC Nice to a victory over Lorient that took them to the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

Since leaving Liverpool, Mario Balotelli has been on fire in France’s top division. The 26-year-old striker scored an 84th minute winner this weekend for new club OGC Nice against Lorient — his sixth goal for the club.

However, in a quintessential Balotelli moment, he then got sent off. The former AC Milan striker received a yellow card for removing his shirt during the celebration of his goal and then got another for an altercation with Lorient right-back Steven Moreira.
