Xhaka scores another long-range goal for Arsenal, opens score for Gunners in EFL Cup [Video]

NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 20: Granit Xhaka of Arsenal celebrates scoring the opening goal during the EFL Cup Third Round match between Nottingham Forest and Arsenal at City Ground on September 20, 2016 in Nottingham, England. (Photo by Shaun Botterill/Getty Images)

Granit Xhaka replicated his exploits against Hull with a thunderous strike to open the scoring for Arsenal against Nottingham Forest.

Granit Xhaka seems intent on making his mark at Arsenal and impress Arsene Wenger. The Swiss international scored a thunderous strike against Hull late into the game over the weekend in a 4-1 win and was rightly handed a start against Nottingham Forest.

And the 23-year-old responded in fantastic fashion. He took the ball up just inside Nottingham Forest’s half and let it go from 30 yards scoring in a fashion almost similar but comparitively more spectacular than his Hull goal.
