Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka scored yet another long distance screamer against Nottingham Forest as Arsenal demolished the Championship side 4-0 in the League Cup.

Xhaka started for Arsenal in the League Cup after having a huge impact against Hull City last weekend as a substitute. The 23-year-old impressed once again — the highlight being his long range missile that opened up the floodgates for the Gunners.

The former Borussia Monchengladbach captain is making a strong case for himself to start. It will be interesting to see whether Arsene Wenger puts him in the lineup against Chelsea on Sunday at the expense of either Francis Coquelin or Santi Cazorla.
