Jose Mourinho has given a few injury updates about the Manchester United squad ahead of their Europa League tie against Feyenoord.

Red Devils fans were bemused that defender Phil Jones has been ruled out for a month without having been involved in a single game for them yet this season.

The 24-year-old Englishman will reportedly be out for a month with a knee injury.

Jones has a poor injury record at Manchester United, and hadn’t even clocked a minute for them so far this season.

Red Devils fans went on the attack on Twitter after news of his injury broke, as they were amazed at how a player could be so injury-prone without even playing in a competitive fixture.

Fellow Premier League club Stoke City were believed to be interested in Jones this summer, and it would surely have been profitable for Man United to sell given the circumstances.
