Real Madrid’s young central defender Alex Martin scored an unbelievable goal from inside his own half.

This weekend seems to have been a good one for the defenders, especially those of Real Madrid. Three of the defenders that started on the weekend against Osasuna managed to get on the score-sheet and it seems the goal-scoring boots were on for defenders of all age groups.

Alex Martin, who plays for Real Madrid’s U-19 side, Juvenile A, picked up the ball inside his own half and caught everyone by surprise by launching a shot that went past everyone, including the opposition goalkeeper, and into the back of the net.

The youngsters are trained by Madrid legend Guti and looks like the youth side might have a few players contending for a permanent spot in the senior first-team squad in the coming years, including young Alex Martin.
