Barcelona and Argentina legend Lionel Messi scored two fantastic goals to guide his side to a 3-2 victory over Serie A outfit Sampdoria in the Joan Gamper Trophy match at the Camp Nou.

His first strike was an impressive team goal that saw 8 outfielders play a hand in creating the goal before the Argentine dribbled it past the goalkeeper. The goal took the score to 2-0 after Luis Suarez had given the Catalans the lead.

Messi’s second goal was also impressive in its own way. The Argentine scored from an inch-perfect free-kick from nearly 30 yards away from goal to seal the contest for his side. Take a look:
