The Gunners have had an unremarkable transfer window so far, and the already frustrated fans have become further aggravated by recent speculation that the club are trying to sign former Man United center-back Johnny Evans.
Arsene Wenger has so far signed Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach for £30 million. Their pursuit of the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Gonzalo Higuain have failed to progress, and the club are now being linked with a £15 million move for West Bromwich Albion defender Johnny Evans.
Needless to say, the fans of the North London club were not pleased.
