His recent performance in the Gunners’ game against the MLS All-Stars provoked a Twitter meltdown from Arsenal fans. Several pointed out how short on confidence the Englishman looks, while others noted that Riyad Mahrez, who has been linked with Arsenal in recent days, would be a big upgrade on the former Southampton man.
