Manchester United beat Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Final at Wembley, thanks to a Jesse Lingard extra time winner.
Jason Puncheon came on as a substitute and opened the scoring for the Eagles in the 78th minute to send the Palace fans and bench into raptures. It was a superb half volley from a tight angle as the United players’ pleas for offside were ignored.
If that wasn’t enough for the Palace fans, they were even treated to a little jig by Alan Pardew.
Their celebration was short lived however, as Juan Mata scored 3 minutes later to bring United back on level terms.
After 20 minutes of extra time played, academy graduate Jesse Lingard scored for United to win their first trophy under Louis Van Gaal.
