It was a tale of two ex-Liverpool strikers as Fernando Torres scored and got sent off for Atletico Madrid while Luis Suarez proved to be the match-winner for Barcelona.
Atletico Madrid threatened to cause an upset at the Camp Nou on Tuesday, but were undone by the sending off of Fernando Torres and the subsequent Barcelona goals scored by Luis Suarez. A 2-1 result from the highly entertaining match means that Barca go into the second leg of the quarter-finals with a slender advantage.

However, one Barcelona fan in particular was tired of the excuses from Barcelona’s detractors following the result.
Yes we won because of ref corruption and Suarez can kick whoever he wants and get away with it.
