Arsenal FC came out on top in the second half of their 2-1 win at Emirates, with an equaliser from Theo Walcott and a late injury time winner netted by Danny Welbeck.
This win lifts Arsenal FC to the second spot of the Premier League table, only two points behind the league leaders and potentially towards their 14th title. This was Danny Welbeck’s first appearance since April 2015, and the Manchester-born player didn’t disappoint.
Football fans (minus the Gunners) were skeptical about Simpson’s Red Card in the second half and blamed Arsenal’s squad for pressurising the referee into taking the decision, resulting in the Foxes being reduced to 10 men away from home.
Fans from both the sides are involved in their own sweet banter, but it’ll suffice to say that this match was nothing less of a fight between two titans, which didn’t bore for even a second. This is how Twitter reacted to Danny Simpson’s red card and Arsenal’s victory.
Referee was desperate to give Arsenal some advantage. Been crumbling under the pressure since the second half kicked off. Silly Simpson.

Said it before and I’ll say it again, Arsenal are the most stressful side too support. So much expectation…so much disappointment. — Kierön (@ScoutingForFifa) February 14, 2016
Let’s see if Wenger/Arsenal fans will complain about their players surrounding referees and getting players booked/sent off. Hypocrites. — Ryan [NABD] (@JohnObiMikeleIe) February 14, 2016

Theo Walcott’s equalizing goal (vs. Leicester City) was Arsenal’s first shot on target in the game.
