Real Madrid’s attacking trio of Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo are having a party in the La Liga and the goals just keep coming in. Their latest victims were relegation battling Sporting Gijon.
Real Madrid’s opening blitzkreig was like a knockout in the first round of a boxing match. They scored 4 goals in the first 18 minutes of the match with Bale opening the scoring, before Ronaldo and Benzema added to the tally. Los Blancos already had a 4-0 lead over the minnows and the match had just begun.
Benzema added another in the late stages of the first half to make it 5-0, before Gijon scored a consolation goal in the 62nd minute. Check out Real Madrid’s demolition of Sporting in the video below.
