Paul Pogba Says It’s More Difficult At Juventus Now, Without Ex-Midfield Partner Andrea Pirlo

Juventus star man Paul Pogba says that his teammates are ready to welcome the mighty Bayern Munich to Turin in the Champions League Round of 16 and believes that they can take them on.

However, the Frenchman is also humble enough to admit that the Bavarians would not be easy to deal with, and perhaps compared to them, he has not achieved much yet.

a Ita s tough to play against Vidal, though. I am nobody yet, Ia ve done nothing in my career,a said Pogba to Italian newspaper La Stampa. [via Eurosport]

However, the 22-year-old does not believe that Juventus are incapable of defeating Bayern Munich. He says, “They said the same in the semi-final against Real Madrid last season.”

This season though things have changed a bit for Juventus, and especially for Pogba, with the departure of other stars like Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez.

a Obviously without Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez it is a different Juventus. Therea s more responsibility on the other players and we have to focus more on working as a unit. The same is true for me,” said Pogba. a Before I had Pirlo by my side and one of our opponents was always marking him. Now they put the same marker on me.

Pogba idolises Iniesta

.

Andres Iniesta is probably one of the least celebrated heroes at FC Barcelona, being overshadowed by the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez. However, the Spanish midfielder has not escaped the attention of the young French midfielder who seems to idolise him.

a I have to find the right moment to make the pass. I must learn and for that I watch Iniesta,a he said in the interview.
