[Video] Jurgen Klopp Promises To End Liverpool FC’s 25-Year Wait For A Title

Liverpool FC announced the appointment of German manager Jurgen Klopp as their new manager yesterday night and the charismatic ex-Borussia Dortmund manager gave his first interview for the Reds.

In his first press-conference as the new Reds’ boss, Klopp vowed to bring to an end the 25-year long wait for the domestic title. Liverpool FC last won a title in 1989-90 and have since failed to finish the season at the summit of the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp, who signed a three-year contract with the Merseyside club has promised at least one title for the supporters in the next four years. ‘The Normal One’, as he famously termed himself during his first interview, will have a huge task at hand helping the Anfield side, currently at the 10th position in the league to a title in the near future.

This is the man, who challenged Bayern Munich’s supremacy in the Bundesliga with limited resources and won back-to-back titles, so who knows, he might as well come good on his promise.
